I'm never quite sure.

I enjoy this piece.

The background is really quite subtle.

Especially the yellow.

The poem is one I wrote nearly a year ago.

I love it.

I think I always will.

it is crazy busy

around here lately.

Everyone has spring fever

and is redecorating!

So keeping with the

in the kitchen

NEED WORK SPACE!

A kitchen island to me

is like bonus space. A little

extra area to help with

 all that prep work,

hopefully put a couple of chairs around

for eating and even setting out

finger foods for parties.

I think they're even better when

they have a small sink for quick clean up!

10 Things You May Not Know

1. I read a lot but almost exclusively online - rarely from a book.
2. In the winter I make chili about once a week and always argue with Billy when he adds pasta to it when I'm not looking.
3. I'm a coke-aholic and have made it a goal this year to be soda-free by the end of the yr. It's going ok.
4. I wear lots of rings. At least 3 and I like them chunky.
5. When I was growing up I spent most of my summers on a pair of roller skates.
6. I only paint my fingers nails with clear polish but rock dark red toes all summer long.
7. I hate to run. I probably wouldn't even run out of a burning building.
8. I look like my mom and act like my dad.
9. I grew up in a small pig farming town but I grew up "in town".
10. I whistle everyday.

Mud Room Madness

I'm enjoying all of these inspiration photos

Mud Rooms are my choice for today.

It's a room that is a bit of a luxury,

I think, since I've never had one.

Such a great space to come in and drop
all the things we lug around each day

- simply unload your day -

and ready to pick up again tomorrow.

Bravo TV

Recently Bravo TV held an event called Bravo Upfronts - it's an event for all of the tv shows and advertisers on Bravo. One of the event coordinators called us up and asked us to cut several sets of our Baroque Frames about 5 times the size offered in our store.
